Chiropractic demographics in Australia

The chiropractic industry is incredibly male dominated, with men making up 61.2% of the profession, while women only make up 38.8%. The industry is also extremely young, with more than half of the profession made up of those between 25 and 40 years of age. In 2016, only 123 chiropractors were under the age of 25 - however, this is expected to change as the industry grows in popularity and more medical students begin to take an interest in this alternative form of medicine.
